This integrated solution relies on the powerful synergy between the IoT Gateway and the Satellite Access Terminal (SaAT).
The process begins with the Connecta IoT Gateway, which acts as the link between field devices and the terminal. Using multiple wireless interfaces like LoRaWAN, Wi-Fi, and BLE, it collects and aggregates data from up to 1,000 sensors. This data is then transmitted to the Connecta IoT Network via the Satellite Access Terminal, which connects directly to the gateway.
Operating in the S-band MSS frequency range with a proprietary reservation-based waveform, the terminal ensures high-speed, reliable, and truly two-way satellite communication.
Engineered for demanding environments, both devices feature compact, rugged, IP67-rated enclosures to ensure dependable performance in the harshest field conditions.
