Connecta IoT Network Batch#2: High-Reliability 6U IoT Connectivity

The second batch of Connecta IoT Network constellations consists of four satellites launched to strengthen and densify global IoT coverage. Operating in again LEO in a compact 6U form factor, these satellites integrate rigorously verified elements from Batch#1, including IoT payloads, antennas, software, and link designs, further refined through continuous hardware and software updates to deliver higher reliability and performance for the network.

Batch#2 satellites feature three distinct communication links at both control and data levels: an inter satellite link, a high-speed data link, and a TM/TC link. Together, these links form a highly interconnected architecture that underpins a resilient IoT constellation. Batch#2 exemplifies how Plan-S builds on proven satellite designs while introducing targeted advancements to evolve the Connecta IoT Network without compromising stability.
