Türkiye’s Satellite Communication Firm Plan-S Signs Agreement with RobotEye

Plan-S Satellite and Space Technologies, which offers innovative solutions in satellite-based communication services, has entered a significant collaboration with RobotEye, a pioneer in the intelligent monitoring systems sector, to address industry needs. With the “Memorandum of Agreement” signed between the two companies, Plan-S’s satellite-based IoT communication service infrastructure is planned for use in RobotEye’s advanced monitoring systems.

Connectivity to be Expanded in Areas with No or Insufficient Service

This cooperation will enable the systems of RobotEye, which serves in vital areas such as environmental protection and public safety, to achieve broader access, particularly in remote regions with no or insufficient service coverage. By leveraging Plan-S’s low-cost and energy-efficient satellite-based IoT communication technologies, the partnership aims to enhance RobotEye’s monitoring capabilities and develop innovative solutions that exceed market expectations.

Monitoring System Capacity to Increase

RobotEye CEO, Dr. Ferit Çakıcı, stated, “This collaboration will allow us to increase the capacity of our monitoring systems and offer our customers more comprehensive and effective solutions. Plan-S’s satellite-based communication technologies will be a key force in taking our projects further.”

To Foster Technological Innovation

Plan-S CTO, Özdemir Gümüşay, emphasized that the agreement aims to initiate a new era by fostering technological innovation in the sector. He said, “By utilizing our low-cost and energy-efficient satellite technologies, we will support RobotEye’s advanced monitoring systems with our satellite-based communication services for IoT devices, particularly in hard-to-reach areas, providing advanced access and surveillance capabilities.”
